Education min: Restructuring secondary education implemented in accordance with int’l standards

Education and Technical Education Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif said that restructuring the secondary education system in Egypt was being implemented in accordance with international standards, based on scientific rules, and with the help of guidance from specialized experts.

The minister’s remarks were made during his meeting with French Ambassador to Egypt Eric Chevalier along with his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of boosting cooperation between Egypt and France in pre-university education, in light of the distinguished relations between the two countries.

The minister praised the close ties binding Egypt and France, affirming keenness on enhancing cultural and educational cooperation with France.

He reviewed the ministry’s vision to address the challenges besetting the educational system in Egypt.

For his part, the French ambassador lauded cooperation with Egypt in the education sector, saying that this meeting contributes to promoting cooperation and exchanging expertise.

He further hailed the minister’s efforts in enhancing the education system in Egypt.
