E-Tickets: The new way to explore Egypt’s past

Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced on Wednesday that a new e-ticket reservation system is now available at 22 archaeological sites and museums.

The archaeological sites comprise the Mummification Museum, Luxor Museum, and the Esna Temple in Luxor, and the Dendera Temple in Qena, in line with the ministry’s digital transformation strategy and vision for enhancing the visitor experience.

E-tickets are designed to streamline museum and archaeological site entry, provide accurate visitor counts, and enhance security by preventing forged tickets

The ministry’s digital transformation initiatives enhance the efficiency and skills of ticket and collection counter staff, introducing them to modern technological systems.
