The Department of Dubai Economy and Tourism has organized a roadshow event in Cairo’s glamorous Nile Ritz Carlton hotel, which aims to promote the 28th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival event, which will run this year from December 15 until January 29.
The head of GCC and MENA International Operations at Dubai Economy and Tourism Ahmad al-Marri, explained that “The annual Dubai Shopping Festival is an excellent opportunity for visitors to experience the very best the city has to offer. The festival has witnessed great turnout and success year after year and has remained as one of the most anticipated events not only in the UAE, but also in the region.”
“We are thrilled to meet with and collaborate with our partners to encourage visitors across the region to spend their holiday in Dubai and make the most of the offers and events during DSF. On top of all the exciting activities, the cooler weather is also ideal to explore both the newly-opened attractions alongside the popular tourism sights across the city,” he added.
“Egypt remains as one of the top-performing markets for Dubai and the roadshow sets sights on boosting visitation in the emirate during major events like DSF. We are looking forward to welcoming all travelers from families, couples, groups of friends, to another exciting and unforgettable installment of Dubai Shopping Festival.”
Egypt ranks in 11th place in Dubai’s list of top source markets, while Dubai saw a 34 percent visitation increase from Egypt between 2021-2022.
