Drop in temperatures, dusty weather across Egypt on Tuesday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts a slight and temporary drop in temperatures across most of the country on Tuesday.

The weather will be very cold at night and in the early morning across all regions, becoming milder during the day in most areas, and warm in Upper Egypt.

Weather maps indicate active winds across most of the country, with speeds ranging from 30 to 40 km/h.

These winds may stir up sand and dust in parts of Sinai, the Red Sea Governorate, and southern Egypt, reducing horizontal visibility on some roads.

Weather maps warned of suspended dust in the morning in parts of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the Suez Canal cities.

The EMA indicates a chance of light to moderate rain at times in parts of the northern coast, the Lower Egypt, and Greater Cairo.

The authority confirms that it is continuously monitoring the weather situation, calling on citizens to take all necessary precautions and follow its updates regularly.

Expected temperatures for Tuesday:

  • Matrouh: 18C
  • Alexandria: 20C
  • Cairo: 22C
  • Hurghada: 23C
  • Sharm El-Sheikh: 24C
  • Luxor: 26C
  • Aswan: 27C
