The "Drawing on the Asphalt" festival will kick off in Hurghada on Tuesday to celebrate the International Day of Water under the supervision of Red Sea governor Ahmed Abdallah.
Two hundred students will take part in the festival.
Chairman of the drinking water company in the Red Sea, Yehia Sediq, said in a statement on Monday that the festival will be launched under the theme "water in the eyes of our children", which aims to raise awareness on rationing water consumption.
A number of NGOs and civil society organizations will participate in the festival, Sediq added.
