Secretary of the Dostor Party in Daqahlia Mohamed Rashad Ghoneim resigned and announced supporting former Defense Minister Abdel Fattah al-Sisi for president.
Ghoneim said in a press statement Friday he submitted his resignation after the Dostor Party announced supporting Hamdeen Sabbahi for president. Ghoneim added a number of party members would resign as well in the coming days.
