Donkey skeletons found in Qalubiya canal

Qalubiya security services have redoubled investigations into several donkey skeletons found by villagers of Aghour, in one of the canals of the Qalubiya governorate.

Villagers discovered three skeletons, with no flesh or skin on them, in a canal interlinking the village with neighboring village of Qarqashanda. They reported the mysterious finding, and Chief of Toukh investigations department, Mohamed Saeed, was notified.

Nassif Hennawy, deputy Health Minister for the governorate, formed a joint committee with members of the local health and veterinary departments to inspect the stores of butchers and food vendors in the vicinity of Aghour and Qarqashanda as part of investigations

A delegation from the veterinary department was selected to examine the donkey skeletons before disposing of them safely.
