CAIRO, Dec 12 (MENA) – Deputy Foreign Minister for African Affairs Hamdy Sanad Loza asserted the importance of coordinating all parties of the international community to revive the peace process to reach peace in the Middle East.
This came in his meeting with Australian Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs Tim Watts and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, he added that the peace process requires respecting international resolutions, committing to the two-state solution and establishing an independent Palestinian state with al Quds as its capital.
The meeting also reviewed the latest security and humanitarian developments in the Gaza Strip and Egyptian efforts to reach an urgent, inclusive and sustainable ceasefire to allow the delivery of humanitarian aid for Gaza residents.
They also discussed means of fostering bilateral relations in the fields of trade and investment. (MENA)
