Red Sea Ports Authority spokesperson Abdul Rehim Mustafa said in a press statement on Sunday that the Defense Ministry will allow the entry of 4×4 SUVs from the Nuweiba and Sharm el-Sheikh ports, if they are accompanied by their owners so as to facilitate procedures for Arab tourists.
The Defense Ministry had banned safaris in the western desert for security reasons, as it is close to the Libyan border, though Arab tourists use SUVs for desert safaris.
