Defendant accused of embezzling revolution victims’ funds referred to psychologist

The Cairo Criminal Court has postponed the trial of 37 defendants accused of embezzling the funds of the National Council for the Care of Martyrs’ Families and the Injured of the Revolution to September 29 in order to hear from the witnesses.
 
The court also referred the defendant Mohamed Taher, a minor, to a psychologist.
 
The defendants are charged with embezzling the funds by falsifying and then submitting medical reports in order to receive compensation.
