Minya Criminal Court on Wednesday sent the death sentence of the young man who was convicted of raping and killing a 6-year-old girl in Minya to the Grand Mufti to endorse.
The victim was found hanged in a house with wounds from sexual abuse in different parts of the body.
Police say the young man confessed to the crime during investigations and said that he took the girl to that place, stripped her clothes, assaulted her sexually, then strangled her and smashed her head with a brick.
