The head of the Tarabin tribe and a member of Gaza Tribal Council, Sheikh Salem al-Sufi, affirmed that his tribe was overjoyed by news regarding the death of Yasser Abu-Shabab, whom he called an “agent”.
The overwhelming public celebration of Abu-Shabab’s killing sends a clear message to Israel that it has failed and will continue to fail in breaking the Palestinian national spirit, he noted.
He emphasized that all the destruction and killing have only strengthened the Palestinian people’s resolve and patriotism, noting that the Tarabin tribe is an integral part of the Palestinian national fabric.
He viewed Abu-Shabab’s killing as a significant prelude to the failure of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s personal project, which, according to Sufi, involves “ruling Gaza Strip by groups of mercenaries under the direct watch of the Israeli army.”
Sufi also commended Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi for his efforts in halting the genocide in the Gaza Strip.
‘Those who betray their homeland get what they deserve’
The head of the Supreme Council of Palestinian Clans, Sheikh Abu-Salman al-Mughni, affirmed that anyone who sells himself to the enemy and betrays his homeland and people will get what they deserve.
Such a betrayal brings nothing but destruction to its perpetrator, he warned, whether at the hands of his own people or by the occupation itself.
Mughni said that those who are not loyal to their homeland and their people cannot be trusted by their enemy, and that those who abandon their land and their tribe know full well that the enemy will never trust them.
Israel’s plans to sow internal discord have failed thanks to the will of the people and their faith in God and their homeland, he added, emphasizing that the unity of Gazan society has proven stronger than all attempts upend it.
The people of the world are now seeing the truth that Zionist propaganda has tried to obscure, Mughni noted, adding that international public opinion has fundamentally changed once the extent of the crimes committed against Palestine came to light.
