
Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly followed up on developments concerning the fire that broke out in the Khawagat Market on Port Said Street in Mansoura city, looking to ascertain the full scale of the incident’s consequences and review the status of the injured and the families of the victims.
The fire resulted in the death of five people and the injury of 13 others.
The Prime Minister mourned the victims of the incident, extending his sincere condolences to their families and praying that they be granted patience and solace, while wishing the injured a swift recovery.
Madbouly also directed the relevant ministries and authorities to immediately provide support and assistance to the families of the victims, ensure the necessary medical care for the injured.
He also called to accelerate the removal of the damage caused by the incident to ensure the return of normal activity in the area.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister urged to pay close attention to monitoring safety and civil protection procedures across various facilities to ensure the preservation of lives and property.
