The Czech Embassy in Cairo denied Tuesday morning news published two days ago about the Czech Foreign Ministry's alleged ammendement to the travel bulletin for its citizens traveling to Egypt, citing security concerns.
The Czech Foreign Ministry issued a statement in the wake of the attack on the Bella Vista Hotel in Hurghada, repeating the same prior travel bulletin and calling on its nationals who reside or plan traveling to Egypt to be careful and vigilant, it said in a statement Tuesday. The statement denied instructing its citizens not to travel to Egypt.
The Friday attack was carried out by two assailants who injured three tourists at the Bella Vista Hotel in Hurghada. One assailant was killed by security personnel and the other was arrested.
