The Egyptian Interior Ministry on Sunday uncovered the cause behind a fire in two buses belonging to a private school in Hadayek al-Kobba, Cairo.
Preliminary investigations tracked down the cause of the fire to a driver in the area, who was promptly arrested and confessed to the crime.
The personnel of the General Administration of Civil Protection in Cairo controlled and extinguish the fire, without any injuries.
The suspect added that due to previous disputes between him and the school principal, he dressed in women’s clothing, went to the scene of the incident, and poured “gasoline” from a jerrycan he had in his possession, and set the two busses on fire.
He added that he wore women’s clothes so that no one could identify him, and showed detectives the clothes used while committing the incident.
