The Cairo Court of Appeals set on Thursday the trial date for the recently famed Yasmine al-Narsh, who is due to face court on the first of June for assaulting police in Cairo's international airport.
The court said in a statement that Narsh is facing the charges of drugs possession, resisting the authorities, insulting a public employee and "publicly committing indecent behaviour."
A video of Narsh, who is now in custody, went viral earlier this month where she is seen hysterically arguing with airport authorities after they stopped her.
Egypt's prosecutor general referred Narsh to criminal court on Wednesday.
According to the prosecution, an investigation has shown that Narsh "used force" against a policeman and threatened to do him harm.
