The Administrative Court has postponed the case of Egyptian expats who were supposed to vote in upcoming parliamentary elections to Tuesday.
A number of Egyptian expats filed a complaint against the head of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces and the High Election Committee chair, the interior minister and the prime minister for depriving expats from the right to vote in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The expats demanded to have polling stations set up in Egyptian embassies abroad.
In the complaint, the expats said the interim executive authority promised them their ability to vote in the parliamentary and presidential elections.
They stressed that denying Egyptian expats the right to vote violates the Interim Constitution and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
