Court to issue verdict in Giza violence trial 7 August

Giza Criminal Court decided on Sunday to issue a verdict against Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie, former Supply Minister Bassem Ouda and 12 others over inciting violence outside Istiqamah mosque on 7 August.

The defendants also include Muslim Brotherhood figures Mohamed al-Beltagy, Essam al-Erian, Assem Abdel Maged, Safwat Hegazy, former MP Azab Mostafa Morsy and others.

They face charges of inciting violence, terrorism, killing nine citizens and rioting in the vicinity of the mosque in the aftermath of toppling president Mohamed Morsy.
