Azbakeya Misdemeanor Court sentenced on Saturday 68 suspects, affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood and other political groups, to two years in prison over involvement in High Court clashes, which took place during the protests on the third anniversary of the January revolution.
Investigations earlier accused the suspects of joining an armed group, resisting authorities, attacking police, rioting, possessing arms and impeding public transportation.
