Fifty Coptic figures will convene Tuesday to discuss Coptic representation in the constituent assembly that will write the new constitution, sources told Al-Masry Al-Youm.
The sources, which asked to remain anonymous, said the meeting aims at coordinating between Coptic organizations inside Egypt, Coptic expatriates and anti-sectarian activists to form one entity that to advocate for Copts.
The meeting will discuss the view of the Copts on the new constitution and focus on citizenship issues and the preservation of the civil state, the sources added.
