Alexandria–The Coptic Orthodox Church will receive condolences on the loss of 23 Christians were killed in a suicide attack in Alexandria while they were emerging from a New Year’s mass in the Church of St. Mark and St. Peter, church officials said.
"The church will receive condolences on Saturday 8 January," Nader Murkos, Pope Shenouda III’s counselor told Al-Masry Al-Youm.
The memorial is take place from 7 to 9PM at the Church of St. Mark and St. Peter.
Murdered Copts are to be remembered in services across Europe on Sunday 9 January.
The main UK service will be conducted in the Cathedral of Saint George at the Coptic Orthodox Center in Stevenage.
