A US congressional delegation, headed by Howard McKeon, chairman of the Armed Services Committee, left Cairo on Wednesday after a visit during which they met with President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Defense Minister Sedqy Sobhy.
The visit tackled the recent situations in the region as well as several issues of joint interest in light of bilateral military cooperation.
The delegation also expressed support by the US administration toward Egypt’s war against terrorism, as well as cooperation with all of the region's countries to confront threats by terrorist groups against the safety and stability of the Middle East.
