Meteorologists predict cold weather to continue through Saturday across Egypt during daylight hours, while it will be warm in southern Upper Egypt, growing cold by night in all parts of the country.

Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts until northern Upper Egypt in the morning.
Low and medium-level clouds are expected to increase on the northern parts of the country, accompanied by rainfall on northern coast and parts of Lower Egypt.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 16C in Alexandria, 17C in Cairo, 18C in Qena and Luxor, and 19C in Aswan.
Winds are expected to be northwesterly and moderate.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be light to moderate ranging between 1 to 1.5 meters in height.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height. Surface winds will be northwesterly on both seas.
