The cold weather will continue throughout the north coast and down to Cairo on Thursday, with temperatures hovering between 13 and 16 degrees Celsius. Heavy winds in the north will affect navigation in the Mediterranean and rain clouds are once again predicted in the Delta, Cairo and Sinai.
The Mediterranean Sea is expected to have moderate to turbulent waves reaching up to 3 meters high, while the Red Sea will experience northwesterly winds with up to 2 meter-high waves.
Citizens are advised to wear heavy clothing and refrain from engaging in maritime activities.
