Meteorologists expect temperatures will decrease across Egypt on Thursday, wit cold weather dominating the northern parts the country until Upper Egypt.
Moderate weather is expected south of Upper Egypt during daylight hours, growing cold at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 16C in Alexandria and Matrouh, 17C in Cairo, 19C in Sohag, 20C in Qena, 22C in Aswan.
Accumulated low and middle-level clouds would cover the country’s northern areas, accompanied by rainfalls on the northern coast, Lower Egypt, Cairo and north Sinai.
Winds will be northwesterly and active in Cairo and Sinai, disturbing maritime navigation in the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.
