Meteorologists expect cold weather across Lower Egypt and Cairo on Tuesday, with moderate weather across northern Upper Egypt.
Warm weather is expected for southern Upper Egypt during daylight hours, while it will grow very cold at night through the entire country.
Maximum temperatures expected for the following cities are 18C in Cairo, 17C in Alexandria, 20C in Qena, 21C in Luxor and 22C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility in the country’s northern parts until northern Upper Egypt. Low and medium-level-clouds will cover the entire country.
Winds will be mostly northwesterly and moderate, active in South Sinai and the Red Sea, disturbing maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters, with northwesterly surface winds on both seas.
