The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts cold weather across the north of the country on Thursday. Moderate temperatures are expected across Lower Egypt, Cairo, north of Upper Egypt. Warm temperatures are also expected for the south of Upper Egypt during daylight hours, before turning cold overnight.
Frost is expected to form across plantations in Central Sinai and north of Upper Egypt.
Mist will affect visibility in the morning along the north coast, Lower Egypt, Cairo, Suez Canal cities, and north of Upper Egypt, and will be dense on some roads.
Low and medium level cloud cover is expected for the north and winds are anticipated to be moderate.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will range between 1.5 and 2 meters high with northwesterly surface winds on the both seas.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 19C in Cairo, 18C in Alexandria, 22C in Qena, 24C in Luxor, and 25C in Aswan.
