Meteorologists predict cold weather at the northern coasts, Lower Egypt, Cairo and north of Upper Egypt on Monday. Warmer weather is expected south of Upper Egypt in the daylight, growing very cold at night.
Temperatures expected for the following cities are: 16C in Alexandria 17C in Cairo and Suez, 21C in Luxor and 22C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility in the country’s northern areas up until north of Upper Egypt.
Low and Medium-level clouds will cover across Egypt, accompanied by rainfall in the northern coasts.
Winds will be mostly northwesterly and moderate, active in South Sinai and the Red Sea, disturbing maritime navigation.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height with southwesterly surface winds, while winds on the Red Sea will be rougher and range between 2 and 2.5 meters with northwesterly surface winds.
