The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has announced the expected weather conditions for Thursday.
Moderate weather is expected during the day across most of the country, with warm conditions in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
However, the EMA warned that temperatures will drop significantly at night and early morning, reaching freezing levels in North Upper Egypt and Central Sinai, impacting crops.
In a statement on its official Facebook page, the EMA indicated that dense fog is expected in the morning on some agricultural roads and those near water bodies.
The authority also predicted moderate to heavy rainfall, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms and hail, in parts of the Matrouh Governorate.
Expected Temperatures for Thursday:
- Greater Cairo and the North Coast: Maximum temperature of 22°C, minimum of 12°C.
- Northern Coast: Maximum temperature of 20°C, minimum of 10°C.
- North Upper Egypt: Maximum temperature of 23°C, minimum of 7°C.
- South Upper Egypt: Maximum temperature of 25°C, minimum of 10°C.
