Meteorologists predict cold weather on Friday across Egypt during daylight hours, while it will be warm in southern Upper Egypt, growing cold by night in all parts.
Frost is also expected to accumulate on plants in central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt in the early hours of the morning.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 17C in Alexandria and Cairo, 18C in Qena and Luxor, and 19C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts until northern Upper Egypt. Low and medium-level clouds are expected to increase on the northern parts of the country, accompanied by rainfall on northern coasts, parts of North Sinai and Lower Egypt.
Winds are expected to be northwesterly and moderate, being active in the Red Sea and Mediterranean Sea and disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height. Surface winds will be northwesterly on both seas.
