Cold nights and fog expected on Thursday as temperatures start gradual drop across Egypt

The General Authority of Meteorology (GAM) announced that the weather conditions expected for Thursday, will feature a cold atmosphere across most areas, especially during the night and early morning hours, accompanied by active winds and chances of rainfall.

The country is expected to experience cold weather in the early morning, with moderate temperatures during the daytime across most regions. The weather will be slightly warmer in southern Upper Egypt, tending towards coolness in the first part of the night, and turning cold in the later hours. There are chances of light rain and active winds.

Starting Thursday, water mist (fog/dew) will appear in the late night hours until 9:00 AM on roads leading to and from the northern parts of the country, Cairo, and Central Sinai, and may be dense on some roads. There are also chances of rain on the North Coast, northern Lower Egypt, Halayeb, and Shalateen.
