Cold, cloudy weather continues in Egypt on Monday

Meteorologists anticipate cold, cloudy weather on northern Egypt, Cairo, Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt on Monday, with more moderate temperatures predicted for South Sinai, Hurghada and southern Upper Egypt during the daytime.

Very cold weather across the country is expected by nightfall.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 16C in Alexandria, 17C in Cairo, 19C in Qena and Luxor, 20C in Aswan and Hurghada and 22C in Sharm el-Sheikh.

Mist is predicted to impact visibility on roads in northern parts until northern Upper Egypt.

Low- and medium-level clouds are anticipated across most parts of the country, accompanied by rainfall on the northern coasts and central Sinai.

Winds will be mostly northwestern and moderate, active on Hurghada and South Sinai, disrupting maritime navigation in the Red Sea.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be rough, ranging between 2.5 and three meters in height, with northwestern surface winds over both seas.
