A fight erupted between two families in Al-Bagour City in Monufiya following a dispute over one family hanging a poster for presidential candidate Ahmed Shafiq on their house.
Six members of the two families were injured.
The injured were transferred to a hospital for treatment. The local police filed a report and the prosecution will begin investigations into the incident.
