Civil defense forces killed Gaza rises to 79 people

The Civil Defense Service in the Gaza Strip announced Sunday evening that three of its forces have been killed during the Mawasi massacre in Khan Younis, south of Gaza.

It added that the total number of Civil Defense members killed since the October 7 war broke out has risen to 79, Palestinian media reported on Sunday.

The Israeli occupation forces on Saturday massacred citizens and displaced people in the Mawasi area of ​​Khan Yunis Governorate, leaving dozens dead.

The Civil Defense announced on Sunday evening that its crews recovered 400 dead and wounded from the Mawasi massacre in Khan Yunis, adding that Israel’s bombs destroyed 1,200 tents that were housing the displaced.

Israel continues its genocidal war in the Gaza Strip for the 282nd day, with casualties numbering 38,584 dead, and 88,881 injured.
