Chairman of the New Port Said City Development Authority Tarek Gamal al-Din Mohamed and representatives of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone have discussed with a number of Chinese investors aspects of bilateral cooperation and the investment opportunities available in the city.
The delegation toured the New Port Said City’s seawater desalination plant to study the possibility of implementing investments in the reject brine from desalination to be used in a number of projects.
They also visited the new city’s residential area and studied the possibility of providing housing for workers and staffers at the factory that is set to be established there by Chinese investments.
They got acquainted with the service projects there that include a school, a medical center, a market, a social club, and a kindergarten.
