China has announced, on Friday, to reduce the level of warnings to Chinese nationals against travelling to Egypt, ahead of Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy's scheduled visit to Beijing on Saturday.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Bad Abdel Aaty said Friday that China informed the Egyptian ambassador in Beijing of the decision, stressing the positive impact it would have on Chinese tourism to Egypt.
Slowly countries have been lifting their travel bans to Egypt as the security situation improves. Russia lifted its travel ban for tourists in November.
