The Meteorological Authority expects bad weather to continue into Friday nationwide.
According to the Authority, chilly weather will prevail alongside low and medium-level clouds and rain on the coasts of North and Lower Egypt, Cairo and north Upper Egypt. Thunderstorms and potential floods are expected on the north coast and Sinai.
North-west winds will be active in most parts of Egypt, disrupting maritime navigation in the Mediterranean and Red seas.
Waves are expected to be five to six meters high in the Mediterranean Sea and three to four meters high in the Red Sea.
