Class continued as normal on Saturday at Azhar University in Nasr City as a weak student presence was noted.
Security troops were seen inside the university in front of the administrative office. Central security and armored vehicles were stationed in front of the building as well as the faculties of agriculture and pharmacology. Troops were also seen on surrounding streets, Nasr City police station and Nasr City Club.
Dozens of administrative security personnel were inspecting students at the gates. Students who were not holding cards that prove affiliation to university were not allowed in. Cars were also inspected.
Armored vehicles and others for the central security troops were stationed before the dorms at the sixth district.
