The highly anticipated amphibious bus project, set to revolutionize tourist travel in Cairo by linking land and Nile routes, has entered its final stages of preparation.
The vehicle is currently undergoing experimental operation without passengers in advance of its official launch scheduled for December 1st.
According to a source, the first month of operation will be entirely free of charge as part of the ongoing trial period, with official fares to be implemented afterward.
The new service will operate along a scenic route in its first phase, connecting Athar El-Nabi (Prophet’s Trace) to the Museum of Civilizations via the Nile River, marking a new experience for Egypt.
This project is being carried out in coordination with the River Transport Authority and a private tourism company.
