The Cairo University’s anti-harassment initiative has won the UNESCO award at a conference organized in France with the participation of the universities of Lille and Bordeaux.
Cairo University had formed a unit to combat violence against women, providing its activists with psychological and legal training regarding dealing with harassment complaints.
