The Cairo Opera House is devoting a special program of concerts on the occasion of Christmas and the Holiday season over the course of an entire week at its various theaters in Cairo, Alexandria, and Damanhour.
The program will begin on Friday with a concert by the Cairo Opera Band and the Cairo Opera Orchestra at the Sayed Darwish Theater – Alexandria Opera – with selections of the best global performances that celebrate Christmas and the New Year.
The Cairo Symphony Orchestra will perform two Christmas concerts on Saturday, December 23 and Sunday, December 31, at the Grand Theater.
The Coptic praise group will perform on Sunday, December 24, at the Republic Theater, in addition to a concert by trumpet player Mohamed Helmy on Monday, December 25, at the Small Theater.
The Opera House will conclude its 2023 evenings with a Christmas concert with the participation of the Mother of Light Choir, Friday, December 29 and Saturday, December 30, at the Republic Theater.
