The Cairo municipality is considering banning tuk-tuks in all districts, following the initial ban that was implemented in the western parts of the city.
“Tuk-tuks are the responsibility of the Traffic Authority,” said Giza Deputy Governor Alaa al-Haras, adding that the workshops that produce tuk-tuk spare parts should also be closed.
