Cairo International Commodities Fair Director Ibrahim al-Garhy announced on Monday that Cameroon will be the guest of honor for this year’s exhibition scheduled for March 14-23 under the theme “Africa today and the future”.
During a press conference, Garhy announced the launch of the exhibition saying that its area has been increased by 27 percent compared to last year in order to be able to display more products in different productive sectors.
He pointed out that the exhibition aims at organizing bilateral meetings between Egyptian, African and foreign exhibitors to contribute to increased trade.
He expected that the number of visitors to the exhibition will reach about two million, pointing out that about 300 Egyptian companies are taking part in the event.
