Cairo International Airport received on Monday a plane for Air Cairo company, of the Civil Aviation Ministry coming from Poland, carrying 174 passengers.
It was designated for the return of Egyptians fleeing the war in Ukraine.
This is from direct orders of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s to evacuate the Egyptians who crossed the Ukrainian borders to neighboring European countries after the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Informed sources at Cairo International Airport said that the Air Cairo flight No. SM 3804, an Airbus 320 aircraft, arrived from Poland, with 174 Egyptian passengers on board, who crossed the Ukrainian borders to its neighboring countries.
A team of public relations professionals followed up on the completion of their arrival procedures inside the arrival hall in Terminal 1 known as the old airport.
The Quarantine Department has dedicated a medical staff to examine the Egyptian passengers.
They also conducted analyzes for those who do not have a certificate of vaccination against the coronavirus.
