The Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb, will convene on Wednesday to mull arrangements after official results of presidential elections were announced on Tuesday.
“The Cabinet will submit resignation after President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi takes the oath,” Mehleb said on Tuesday expressing happiness over accomplishing that phase of roadmap and personal engagement in such achievement.
“The Cabinet succeeded in accomplishing its mission. The president has the right to choose his assistants in the coming phase, especially that the challenges we face are huge,” he added.
Chancellor Anwar al-Assy, head of the High Elections Committee, on Tuesday evening declared Abdel Fattah al-Sisi winner of the 2014 presidential elections.
