The Cabinet has approved a draft decision by the President of the Republic for the establishment of a global educational institution in the New Administrative Capital as part of the establishment of several branches of international universities there.
The global foundation will include a branch of the University of Hertfordshire that will include faculties of medical and life sciences, business administration, engineering and computer science, humanities, health and social work, and innovative arts.
The foundation said in a statement that the university branch in the New Administrative Capital will be affiliated with the mother university in the United Kingdom.
The university aims to develop the system of higher education and scientific research in Egypt, providing higher education opportunities for students in Egypt while they maintain their national identity.
