The Cabinet approved on Wednesday a draft law issued by the president on a loan agreement between Egypt and the Kuwait Fund for Economic Development worth 30 million dinars.
The agreement contributes to an electrical line project between Egypt and Saudi Arabia signed in November.
The project comes within the framework of an Egyptian-Saudi electricity project that hopes to contribute to part of the demand for electric power in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The Cabinet agreed to link Badr power plant in Egypt and the East Madinah station through Tabuk station in Saudi Arabia, about 1300 km long and at about 3000 megawatts.
