Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly issued a decision on Monday clarifying the date for the official holiday commemorating the July 23 Revolution.
The decision stipulates that Thursday, July 25, will be an official paid holiday instead of Tuesday, July 23.
Thus, there will be three days off, with Thursday as an official holiday and Friday and Saturday as the weekend.
The decision applies to workers in ministries, government departments, public bodies, local administration units, public sector companies, public business sector companies, and the private sector.

Here are the remaining official holidays for this year according to the schedule on the official website of the Egyptian Presidency:
- Monday, September 16 the Prophet’s birthday.
- Sunday, October 6 the holiday commemorating Egypt’s victory on October 6, 1973.
