A ruptured sewage pipe in Cairo on Tuesday led to an overflow of drainage waters and obstruction of traffic on one of Cairo's main roads.
A Cairo Governorate official has attributed the damage to an overload of sewage on the pipe which caused water to flood large parts of the capital's 40km Ring Road. He confirmed that work is underway to clean up the sewage.
