The British consul to Cairo John Neil hailed during a meeting with Red Sea Governor Ahmed Abdallah the security situation in the governorate as “good” and explained that he will work to convey the true image of Egyptian resorts to his country.
He praised the boom in the infrastructure of roads, airports, ports and tourist resorts.
Abdallah called on Neil to convey the true image of the situation in the governorate, stressing that the number of English tourists to the Red Sea resorts is on the rise.
According to Abdallah British tourists rank fourth compared to the number of tourists of other nationalities who visit the Red Sea resorts.
Abdallah asked the British Consul to take a night stroll through the streets of Hurghada and see how safe and secure the city is.
